Fun Shops

Fun Shops are unique and creative choice time workshops, led by professional instructors and our dedicated counselors.

Each week, campers in will pre- register, and select 3 FunShops. Fun Shops occur 2 or 3 times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for one hour on each day.

Sports and Movement:

SPORTS with Coach Benny

 

Campers will learn some basic sport skills. Each week Coach Benny will introduce a new sport.

 

ZUMBA

 

It’s fun, it’s fitness, it’s Zumba! Zumba for kids is all of the adrenaline and fun that is Zumba, tailor made for campers to have a blast being active!

GYMNASTICS

Camp Gan Izzy is excited to partner with Southlake Gymnastics.

Gymnastics is perhaps one of the most comprehensive "lifestyle exercise programs" available to children, incorporating strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power and discipline.

Arts and Creativity:

CANVAS PAINTING PARTY

 

Follow our step by step process to create a beautiful canvas.

 

DUCT TAPE

 

Using a wide range of colors and patterns, campers will create a wallet, purse or something of their own creation.

 

POTTERY

 

Create a piece of pottery from start to finish. Campers use hand building skills and special techniques to form the clay.

 

SPA TIME

 

Create your very own bath salts, scented hand creams, lotions and more at this DIY spa session. Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating day right here at CGI!

Science and STEM:

ENGINEERING CHALLENGE

 

Campers will design and build with any and every type of material they can get their hands on! After mastering the engineering the challenges provided, they’ll get to create something of their own design!

 

MAD SCIENCE

 

Do you love to watch things explode? Want to learn how to cook things using the sun? In this iShop you will get to explore science in a fun and hands-on way.

 

TERRARIUMS

 

Campers will learn about how to create and maintain a garden Terrarium.

 

 

Cooking Exploration:

CUPCAKE WARS

 

Kids will bake and decorate yummy cupcakes that will be judged on taste, style and creativity.

 

MASTER CHEF

 

Campers will create different dishes in our kitchen that they can then go home and prepare for the family. Recipes will be provided to campers to recreate when they get home.
