Appeal - Chabad of Southlake

Dear Friends,

In a world that so often pressures people to hide or shrink who they are, Jewish pride means the opposite: standing tall in our identity.

It means lighting Shabbat candles. Speaking openly about Torah values. Celebrating our holidays out loud, showing up for one another, and walking with confidence in the footsteps of our ancestors. It means knowing - with certainty - that Israel is our ancestral homeland, promised to us by G-d, and that it will always be ours. No matter what a coworker, a classmate, or a professor says.

At Chabad of Southlake, we witness that pride every single day.

We see it in the child who walks into Hebrew School beaming, Aleph Champ medallion in hand. In the teen who steps up to lead in CTeen and makes sure no one feels left out. In the families who gather for holiday celebrations and Shabbat dinners. In the adults who carve time out of busy weeks for a JLI class, a Jewish Women’s Club event, or one quick mitzvah on the go.

On their own, these moments can look small and scattered. Together, they are something powerful: a living, breathing Jewish community. This is what Jewish pride looks like - not once a year, but day in and day out.

As we enter the new year, we’re asking you to help us keep this going. Your support is what allows us to serve this remarkable community, to bring more light into a world that needs it, and to show our children that being Jewish is something to celebrate every single day.

As we step into 5787, we pray for peace, safety, and revealed blessings for our community and for all of Am Yisrael - in Israel and around the world. We wish you and your loved ones a year of meaning, connection, and joy, and the strength to live as a proud Jew, with confidence and with heart.
