Fun Shops are unique and creative choice time workshops, led by professional instructors and our dedicated counselors. Each week, campers in CGI will pre-register, and select 3 Fun Shops. Fun Shops occur 2 or 3 times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for one hour.
Each week a selection of 6 Fun shops will be offered, & Campers can choose 3 to participate in. Scroll down to see the weekly Fun Shop list, and choose the ones your child would like to participate in.

SPORTS & MOVEMENT
Baseball : Campers will visit Southlake Baseball Academy and learn some baseball skills.
Zumba : It’s fun, it’s fitness, it’s Zumba! Zumba for kids is all of the adrenaline and fun that is Zumba, tailor made for campers to have a blast being active!
Free Running : Camp Gan Izzy is excited to partner with Tempest Free Running Southlake. "The Worlds #1 Free running & Parkour Training Facility. Waivers must be signed by parents.
Gymnastics : Camp Gan Izzy is excited to partner with Southlake Gymnastics. Gymnastics is perhaps one of the most comprehensive "lifestyle exercise programs" available to children, incorporating strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power and discipline. Waivers must be signed by parents.
ARTS & CREATIVITY
Canvas Painting Party : Follow our step by step process to create a beautiful canvas.
Duct Tape : Using a wide range of colors and patterns, campers will create a wallet, purse or something of their own creation.
Pottery : Create a piece of pottery from start to finish. Campers use hand building skills and special techniques to form the clay.
Photography: Campers will learn tricks and tips to take professional looking photos.
SCIENCE & STEM
Challenge Island : Campers will design and build with any and every type of material they can get their hands on! After mastering the engineering the challenges provided, they’ll get to create something of their own design!
Mad Science : Do you love to watch things explode? Want to learn how to cook things using the sun? In this Fun shop you will get to explore science in a fun and hands-on way.
COOKING EXPLORATION
Cupcake Wars : Kids will bake and decorate yummy cupcakes that will be judged on taste, style and creativity.
Master Chef : Campers will create different dishes in our kitchen that they can then go home and prepare for the family. Recipes will be provided to campers to recreate when they get home.
